It is despicable and unforgivable that you would write, much less post a story that you knew would grieve the people who had so intently been rooting for Delta and Dawn to survive.  The fact that Clayborne has a mind that could dream up this heartbreaking scenario is disgusting enough, but for you to post it is reprehensible.  You are opprobrious, loathsome miscreants.  You have no disclaimer with the article and are a scourge for posting this particular article that you knew would harm so many.  And you thought it was funny?

Your article by Steen Singh about Harry Reid kicking a retired ranch dog, reported Thursday, June 14, 2007, isn't panning out.  I just spoke to Marge Van Hoove in Reid's office in Las Vegas, Nevada; she tells me that Harry Reid doesn't fly home to his state on weekends and he hasn't recently toured any properties near Reno.
 
So what is the truth about this story "Harry Reid Kicks Dog While Down" ??

Thank you to the person who pestered Ward Churchill's official site regarding our story - then forwarded their response to us.

Question: I just read about the attack on Official News Agency.  Is Ward alright?  Is his book still going to be published?

Response from wardchurchill.net: "All of that is a complete fabrication.  No such event, no "novel," no protests, no violence .....  Someone has too much time on their hands."

As an avid reader/worshiper of The Onion and its staff, I can say that this particular Web site blows.....and blows hard. The reason Chard thought it was a serious story is because 1) the satire simply doesn't come through and 2) It's just not funny.

I hate that site and I hope all affiliated with it die.

[Editor - You know, I get a lot of ribbing from various fronts about our content, and I can usually take it.  But I got seriously cheesed at this person because of the "hope you all die" thing.  Turns out he was just kidding about that part, and I ended up making an ass of myself.  Shows how gullible I am. 

Of course, he meant the rest of it - he really does think we blow.
